Targocid 400 mg contains teicoplanin, a glycopeptide antibiotic used to treat serious bacterial infections caused mainly by Gram-positive bacteria, including methicillin-resistant staphylococci (MRSA). It is given by intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) injection and should only be used under medical supervision.
